Second Nature Studios

Second Nature Studios is an intimate recording studio located in Westport, CT. Our focus is on high quality recording, mixing, and mastering for solo performers, duets, and trios.

We record on a sound-isolated PC system using Sonar. Current equipment includes:

• Microphones: Neumann TLM-103 (2) and U-87 (2), Oktava MK012 (2), AKG C100S and D750, Audix D2 (drum), Shure SM57, and a Shure 556S for that vintage sound.
• Preamps: Presonus MP-20, MOTU 896HD.
• Keyboards: Yamaha S08, Motif-Rack ES.
• Effects: Lexicon PCM81, Echoplex Digital Pro Plus (2), Digitech S200.
